My investment goal for a portfolio got cancelled. What are my options for the portfolio now?

It is not unusual for you to cancel an investment goal after you have created a separate portfolio for that goal.

You can now use that portfolio to achieve a new investment goal. To do that, you can modify the goal attributes such as the goal type, target amount and target date. You can also change the portfolio name and the risk tolerance of the portfolio. Any of these changes would enable you to use that portfolio to achieve a new investment goal.

Alternately, you can merge that portfolio to another portfolio. The goal attributes of the destination portfolio will remain the same.

Else, you can also continue to invest in that portfolio without having a goal for that portfolio.

Or else, you can place a withdrawal order for that portfolio and close the portfolio.
