What is the purpose of Statement of Advice (SOA)?
A Statement of Advice (SOA) is a document that sets out your situation and goals, and our corresponding financial recommendations. You will receive an SOA when we provide you with personal financial advice that takes into account your objectives, financial situation and needs. The SOA will contain:
- the advice;
- the basis on which the advice is given;
- information about remuneration including fees, commissions and other benefits; and
- any interests, relationships or associations which might influence the making of the advice.
Read our Financial Services Guide to know more.
As a part of your onboarding process before we create your QuietGrowth account, we will provide you with a digital copy of the 'Statement of Advice and MDA Contract'. This document includes the SOA.
The SOA we provide to you will help you understand and consider whether to rely on personal advice that has been or may be provided to you.
